Reading the Body Language of Love
from: Couples often learn to communicate to each other through certain looks or special body movements over time. Here are some popular translations in the language of love.1) Starting with the way the body is facing and leaning, that is the way the person’s direction is most directed at the moment. To garner more attention, for example, clear your throat, say something like “Excuse me,” or simply ask the person for his or her attention. Your back to someone is rude if that person is trying to gain your attention, so use finesse and don’t be rude to others.
2) Eyes need to be focused on the person speaking or the person to whom you are speaking. Because if you neglect to look the other party in the eyes, he or she may take it to mean that you are hiding something or being dishonest. In a similar manner, is you keep shifting your eye movements or suddenly change direction or your glance, this can also a dishonest ring to it to another party.
So should you need to address an entire group or even just a couple of people, look each person in the eye, slowly and easily turning in one direction (either clockwise or counterclockwise - -but remain in the same direction without jerking back and forth), addressing each person with eye contact when their turn comes. And don’t stop to glare at any one person., .This is considered rude.
3) A warm smile says it all. So think warm thoughts, and let your true smile shine.
4) If people are closed to communications; for example, maybe they have other things on their mind form home, they generally have their bodies in closed positions: legs crossed, arms crossed. So take your lead from this and don’t be rude and interrupt on their thoughts. You can politely say, “Hello,” to see it this ‘opens’ them up some. But if not, allow them their space and time to get their thoughts together.
5) Use your ears to hear if you are turning people off, too. If others have short attention spans, for example, they may be interested in other things but not what you are saying. It may not be personal, just bad timing. So be attentive to change – and make changes.
