Creative Dating & Relationship Ideas
from:When you need some ideas to spruce up your relationship or jumpstart a date, try some of these, adding your own twist to them.
When your mate tell you that he or she is a little under the weather, deliver a special basket with a can of chicken noodle soup, crackers, orange juice, a box of tissues and other nice goodies in it with a get well soon card. Include a pencil and puzzle book, too, for fun time when boredom starts to break through right before healing takes over.
Start traditions together. Choose a date that is special to both of you. Or start traditions around celebrated holidays. For example, make your own favorite foods instead of traditional family ones from your past. Make special ornaments, plant special flowers.
Invite your favorite friends or neighbors over once a month for a fun supper party. Have everyone bring something and have a picnic-style meal together. Afterwards, play board games.
At Christmas, instead of joining in the commercial madness of the times, make homemade gift cards for your loved ones, and donate money and gifts to charities for children of the homeless and poor. Volunteer at local food banks or homeless shelters, too, and help serve those in need.
Have a fun photo day once in awhile and capture some digital memories. Transfer them online and set up your own digital scrap book.
Get creative in the kitchen once a week and cook together. Plan the meal ahead of time and shop together, too. Get exotic, try foods from other countries and borrow music from the library or a video thats targeting music or a show from the country or original or your recipe.
Develop a hobby together. Like history? Watch the history channel together for one hour each evening. Plan history outings in your area and vacation trips to historic sites. Keep a historic photo album of your adventures together and a scrapbook of neat souvenirs.
Fix up a room together. Share your ideas so that the room reflects both of your interests. Paint walls in his colors, trim in hers. Get couch covering in his colors, pillows in hers. How about a rug if her colors, lamp shades in his. And so on.
Keep on being creative by seeking out creative ideas online and in books from your local library. Enjoy!
